I have returned to my favourite topic to talk about…beauty! I thought I would share with you my everyday make up routine which I wear to school. It is very basic and reasonably quick to do in the mornings!
First off, I’ll start with base products. For my foundation, I use the Revlon Colorstay which I recently bought in Boots and I love it so far. It gives a medium-full coverage, blurring those pesky blemishes, without looking too cakey. Also, it actually comes in a shade just about light enough for my ghostly skin! I then use the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer to cover up spots and any redness which is what it does best in my opinion. To conceal my under eyes, I use the Seventeen Stay Time concealer (which also comes in a very pale shade!) to illuminate the area. To set all that in place and try to prevent shine as best that I can, I use the translucent Rimmel Stay Matte powder. To add a pop of colour to the cheeks, I love using this Bobbi Brown Blush in the shade ‘Slopes’. It is matte and extremely long lasting which is great for a school day.
For my eyes and eyebrows, I keep it very natural. I like to line my water line with the Rimmel Scandaleyes eyeliner in ‘Nude’ to take away the redness and refresh my eyes. Then, as I have very light eye lashes, any brown or black mascara just is too much for my face; I simply curl my eye lashes and apply a layer of the Collection Colour Lash clear mascara which is only £1.99! The same applies for my eye brows so I just brush them through with the Seventeen Clear Definition mascara which is more pricey at £4.69 (I only use this as it is what I have already, when it runs out I will find a cheaper one!).Lastly, when I’m not feeling lazy, I dab a little bit of the Elf Eyelid Primer on my eyelids just to even out the colour and stop them from getting oily.
Just a little extra, I use the Real Techniques Expert Face brush to apply my foundation and concealer, their Powder brush for powder and their Blush brush for blusher! I love all their brushes a lot and may do a whole separate post dedicated to them…
Hope you enjoyed this post! I would love to know what your favourite make up product is at the moment?
