I have to admit that I am a stationery junkie. I own a vast amount of stationery, which half the time, I cannot remember buying. It is the type of thing that is a necessity, but unfortunately, not in the quantities that I buy it. I am my own enabler and only encourage myself by thinking that I will always need pens and paper (which is true of course).
Today I thought I would share with you my favourite stationery items that I have bought this month!
I always like to start a new school term with a new pencil case; it is a tradition. This year it took me a while to hunt down one that I liked but I eventually found it here from Not On The Highstreet. I originally wanted the pale blue and white one but it was out of stock so I went for the black and white triangles instead. I really love this pencil case as it is the perfect size to fit everything that I need and the fabric is quite thick and sturdy so should last a while. However, the only negative is that it was slightly more expensive than I would have hoped to pay at £12.
Next up is my best bargain of the month! I stumbled across these Stabilo fine pens whilst in Sainsburys looking for some dessert strangely enough. They had a surprisingly appealing stationery stand so I was drawn to it. I bought them for £2.49 as they were half price which is a great deal considering the quality of the pens. You could also get them half price in Wilkos for £2.50 (although Sainsburys is 1p cheaper!) the last time I looked! They have a very fine nib and are great for illustrating and writing. They come in a pack of 10 colours, all of which are usable!
Ring-binders are also school essentials and I love getting patterned designs. I found this striped one in Sainsburys (I think I have a favourite supermarket already…) in the half price stationery section. It was great value for money at £1.24 so I could not resist!
Lastly is a lovely diary, which could be my favourite purchase. I cannot find a link for it but I got it in Wilkos which is a shop I love! I think it was only £2.50 which is a great price as it is A5. I really enjoy using this diary as it makes me feel more sophisticated and organised, just flicking through the pages looking at my appointments (although they are mainly for the orthodontist!).
As always, if you have any stationery suggestions or shops to buy it from, I would love to know so leave me a comment!
