She sells seashells by the seashore.
The shells she sells are surely seashells.
So if she sells shells on the seashore,
I’m sure she sells seashore shells
Ironically, our post is not about seashells on the seashore, but extra brownie points to whoever can get their tongue around this tongue twister (even that in itself is a tongue twister!). No, it is actually about pebble art, but we just wanted to set the beach scene.
Using just a few Sharpie pens and some pebbles from the beach, you can create a masterpiece! Here are the simple steps to produce your work of art:
1. Collect the pebbles of your choice from the beach, making sure that they are relatively smooth and flat so that the pen glides seamlessly across the surface.
3. Dab the pebbles using a paper towel and leave them for an hour or so to dry more thoroughly.
4. Now you are ready to release your artistic flow! This is the easy part, simply draw your design onto your pebble and voila! However, if you are feeling slightly nervous with your creative ability, you could start by drawing your design in pencil and then going over it with pen later.
Here’s a few we made earlier…
We think these are pebble-icious, if you will. They are so straightforward and charming and look great wherever you place them!
